<B>1807 10C MS64 PCGS.</B></I> JR-1, R.2, the only variety of the year. This is a truly gorgeous representative of this early dime issue, with shimmering satin luster and indisputably original gold, rose, electric-blue and light-gray coloration. Moderate die clash marks are observed on the obverse, but neither side reveals any distracting marks or problems. According to <I>Early United States Dimes 1796-1837,</B></I> the standard reference for the series: "Fully 90% of 1807 dimes show heavy clash marks, especially on obverse near date and before face."
