Half Dollars 1806, 6 over 5. Overton-101. Extremely Fine 40. <b>Distinguishable by its recut star 12, with star 13 joined at the bust. On the reverse T in UNITED and the second T in STATES are also recut. Harsh cleaning has left the surface extensively hairlined on the obverse, but less so on the reverse, which appears to have escaped most of the procedure. Surfaces have begun to tone a natural old-silver hue, which lessens the impact of the cleaning. The 1806/5 overdate has a knobbed 6 in the date; later varieties without the overdate can be found with a pointed top 6. The overdate, because it IS an overdate, makes this the most popular variety even though not particularly scarce.</b> <p align="center">Superior Galleries was founded in 1929 and has been a leader in
