<Our item number 139655><B>1806 Draped Bust Half Dollar. Pointed 6, stem through claw. PCGS graded MS-62 CAC Approved.</B> In PCGS holder 11785647. Nice and frosty with the reverse softly struck near the eagle&#39;s head. The 1806 halves come in seven major varieties, including two overdates &#40;6-over-5 and 6-over-inverted-6&#41;, three with a knobbed 6 in the date and two with a pointed 6. By far the rarest is the knobbed-6 variety on which the stem of the olive branch doesn&#39;t extend through the eagle&#39;s claw. Despite their relatively high mintage, few 1806 draped bust, heraldic eagle half dollars were preserved in mint condition. <B>Pop 1; none finer for the variety at PCGS.</B> <B>&#40;PCGS # 39329&#41;</B>. <BR><BR>The first obverse star is high relative to the curl and the branch stem is long; these identify this Pointed 6, Stem die marriage.
