1806 50C Pointed 6, Stem AU58 PCGS. O-115, R.1. Toned a medium gray with soft crimson and gold undertones, and a thin ring of aqua blue around the rims. Nicely struck, except for softness in the hair at Liberty's forehead, in some of the star centers along the right obverse border, and in the feathers of the eagle's neck and breast. The design elements are generally nicely centered on the planchet, especially on the reverse. The surfaces retain considerable luster, and are devoid of any consequential abrasions. Simply an attractive coin in every respect, and a real prize for early half dollar collectors.
Selections From Gobrecht's Raisinet Collection, the #1 Finest PCGS Registry Copper, Nickel and Silver Type Set.

Coin Engraver: Robert Scot

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
