<B>1806 $5 Pointed Top 6, 8x5 Stars AU55 PCGS.</B></I> Breen-6445, BD-1, R.4. Key diagnostics for this variety include: A pointed 6 in the date; obverse stars 1 and 2 have points that nearly touch; all of the reverse letter Ts have a broken (missing) lower right "foot". This piece is well struck with substantial luster and lovely, uniform green-gold coloration. Mint-made features include several crisscrossing adjustment marks across the obverse center, a couple of light clash marks on the lower reverse, and a shallow planchet flaw in the left reverse field, below T in UNITED. Noticeable abrasions are absent, but a few wispy hairlines are noted in the obverse and reverse fields.
