1806<25C> MS64 PCGS. B-10, R.5. Beautifully patinated in sea-green, copper-red, rose, and cobalt-blue shades. The satin luster is comprehensive. Generally well struck, since only the vertical shield lines show evidence of any noticeable weakness. A hint of contact is found near the jaw, but overall, the preservation is outstanding for the MS64 level on a Draped Bust quarter. Beyond the technical grade, it must be mentioned that the eye appeal is also superior, since many Mint State examples of this type are dipped out or deeply toned. The present originally and attractively toned piece, when its strike and preservation is also taken into account, is worthy of the finest quality silver type set. Certified in a green label holder. Census: 13 in 64, 3 finer (9/06).
