<B>1806 1C AU53 NGC.</B></I> S-270, B-1, R.1. Intermediate Die State III-IV. A glossy dark olive-brown piece with considerable luster remaining. In an advanced die state, with bulges developing behind the lowest hair curl and 06 in the date. The crack through the curl extends faintly to the rim, although not all of the die clash marks Breen mentions for this die state are yet prominent on this piece. A few scattered abrasions are noted, none individually distracting.
