<B>Group of Five Price Schedules for Imported Goods into Liverpool 1806-1810</B></I>. Various sizes, average 8” x 10”, most two pages, with dates from 1806 through 1810, printed for Lodges & Tooth Liverpool , each titled “Prices Current (including the Import Duty) at Liverpool”, some toning, else generally in very good condition. These schedules list goods from “Ashes” to “Tobacco” with their corresponding prices per weight, showing the appropriate duty for each. Of particular note is a marginal note on the 1807 schedule next to the entry for cotton which reads “<I>Uplands & New Orleans Cottons, if clean, & prime in quality, are salable; but inferior soils will scarcely sell at any price</B></I>”. The 1806 schedule has the hand-written notation “<I>Rye flour and Indian corn meal cannot be imported</B></I>”. <I>Ex. Henry E.
