<B>1805 $5 MS61 PCGS.</B></I> Breen-6445, BD-1, R.3+. This is clearly the most common of five die varieties known for the year, with about 200 specimens surviving today. It is therefore an excellent choice for either the date or type collector. This is a lovely Mint State example with satiny and fully lustrous yellow-gold surfaces that are highlighted by pale orange toning. The fields show hints of reflectivity, especially on the reverse.
