Half Cents 1804 C-11 R2 F12. Overstruck. <b>Sharpness near EF40 but harshly cleaned exposing microscopic porosity and leaving bright coppery surfaces just starting to fade to steel brown on the highpoints. A shallow pit at the dentils left of the lower ribbon end is the only notable mark. This piece was struck over something else, either an off-center half cent or a spoiled cent. An arc of dentils is clearly visible from the ear to the rim at the lower curls, and undertype design is visible on the rim under the bust tip and on the rim over TED STATE.
