While this example has clearly been cleaned and recolored, with light scratches and other minor blemishes visible on each side, it is sharply detailed and probably approaches AU50 in that regard. This date is the rarest in the series, with higher catalog prices than any other date from 1796 to 1837. When examples appear on the market, they are apt to be in low grade, unlike this piece.
