<B>1804 1/2 C Spiked Chin. C-6, B-6, R.2. Die State 11+. MS62 Brown NGC.</B></I> Ex: Jules Reiver Collection. Braig State 8.0. Spiked Chin; Wide fraction, low numerator. <B>The Manley Plate Coin for Die State 11. </B></I>This is one of the latest die states known, although two later progressions are repeatedly rumored, but not seen by the current generation of specialists. The die cracks through the top of O in OF are heavy, but have not developed into a break. Identified as the Breen plate coin, but it does not appear to match any of the coins plated in that reference. Attractive tan and darker brown color with good eye appeal. The surfaces have minor abrasions, more so on the obverse.
