<B>1804 1/2 C Crosslet 4, No Stems MS63 Brown PCGS.</B></I> C-12, B-11, R.2. The No Stems reverse die is known with Plain 4 and Crosslet 4 obverse dies. The Plain 4 obverse (identified as C-13), is often encountered in Mint State grades, while this Crosslet 4, No Stems variety is much scarcer in high grades. This piece has glossy brown surfaces with excellent cartwheel luster. The obverse has a crescent of light brown with considerable darker brown color above, as well as a few small splashes of ebony. The reverse is fully light brown with hints of olive.
