<B>1803 $10 Small Stars Reverse--Cleaned--ANACS. AU53 Details. </B></I> Breen-6844, Taraszka-29, BD-4, R.6. The 1803 mintage is reported as 8,979 pieces, in two deliveries: warrant 281, August 19, 4,816; warrant 286, November 19, 4,163 pieces. To this must be added an unknown quantity made in 1804 from 1803 dies. This example displays subdued orange-gold surfaces that reveal some light, wispy hairlines. The design elements are sharply defined and well centered, and the dentilation is strong on both sides.
