1802 S-225 R-3 VF25At least 5 points sharper with smooth surfaces that have a few contact marks. The notable marks are small digs over the E and Y in LIBERTY, a couple vertical hairline scratches in the field behind the portrait, a rough line of ticks at the leaf tips over the O in ONE, and a small dig at the top of the numerator. Mostly glossy medium olive brown and steel. Extremely rare LDS, Breen state VI, with a raised retained cud break at ES-O. Graded VF25 net F12 and finest of only two known in this die state in the Noyes census, his photo #23124. The other piece is a scudzy Basal State-1. An important cent for the collector of significant die states, and it comes with a great provenance.Certificate Number: Pedigree: Ex Henry C. Hines-Homer K.
