June 9, 1802-Dated, Partly-Printed Document Signed, 1 page, 8.25” x 5”, handsomely professionally matted and framed to an overall size of 17” x 14.75”, Port of Providence, District of Rhode Island, Low Serial no. “6”! Being an Import Document for a ship owned by Brown and Ives. Supervisor Jonathan Dexter certifies that one pipe of brandy, containing 120 gallons, was imported from Malaga by Brown and Ives, in the Eliza. With an exceptional official Embossed Seal of Supervisor's Office at upper left; Countersigned by Inspector W. Barton. Brass title plate is mounted below this impressive bright vivid document, which is expensively framed under Plexiglas and ready to hang on display.
