Large Cents 1802 S-242 R2 EF45. <b>Choice glossy chocolate brown and steel with frosty tan and light brown in some protected areas, especially on the obverse. The surfaces are smooth and nearly flawless. Marks include a small, very shallow nick in the field opposite the eye, a few tiny nicks at ATE in STATES, and a small nick over the right top of N in CENT. Nicely struck EDS, Breen state I, prior to the die crack at NITE. Very nice for the grade, nearly choice. Called EF45 in both the Bland and Noyes census lists, tied for CC#5 in the first, #3 in the second.</b> Ex George L. Davis, Stack's 4/10/54:1613-C. Douglas Smith-Dr. Robert A.
