Dentil tips remain visible just below this break. This final die state was unknown to Sheldon when he published his first work on cents, <I>Early American Cents,</B></I> and was described in the die break appendix of <I>Penny Whimsy.</B></I> Without a doubt, an extremely important rarity in this terminal state. Splendid light tan and olive surfaces with a couple splashes of steel toning on the reverse. A few light abrasions are visible on each side.<BR><I>Ex: Charles Funk; Gordon Wrubel; William R.T.
