<B>1802/1 $1 Narrow Date AU55 PCGS.</B></I> <B>1802/1 S$1 Narrow Date AU55 PCGS.</B></I> B-4, BB-232, R.3. This is an impressive Choice AU piece with nearly full luster beneath steel-gray surfaces with hints of lighter gold on the reverse. A few tiny splashes of russet toning are evident on parts of the devices, mostly on the obverse. The overall aesthetic appeal is exceptional. An intermediate die state, the obverse has a fine crack or defect line from star 13 across the drapery. There is faint evidence of a second obverse crack from star 7 through L, although that area is obscured by flowlines.
