Quickly identified by the die lumps near the arrowheads, Overton-101 is one of only two die marriages (both sharing the same obverse) for this premier Heraldic Eagle half dollar date. Just 30,289 pieces were struck, and survivors above low-end VF are a significant find for the early half specialist. Predominantly light silver-gray with arcs of much deeper charcoal and tobacco-brown toning that wrap around each side.
