<B>1801 $10 XF45 PCGS.</B></I> Breen-6843, Taraszka-25, BD-2, R.2. The position of the first star relative to the curl distinguishes BD-2 from the rare BD-1. This well struck and impressive early gold type coin retains most of the eagle's breast feathers, and wear is generally limited to Liberty's drapery and cap. Surprisingly free from noteworthy marks for such a large gold coin. Luster glimmers from the legends, eagle, cloud, and portrait. This is the die variety with the curious vertical die lines within the folds of the cap.
