Two 1801-dated varieties are known through combination of two obverse and two reverse dies. Taraszka-25 is the single most plentiful early ten-dollar gold coin minted from 1795 to 1804, with fortunately dozens of high grade examples known today to meet the demands of an increasing coterie of collectors. That includes this otherwise choice EF45 coin.
