1801 $10 AU50 PCGS. Breen-6843, Taraszka-24, BD-1, R.5. Although not the terminal die state, the obverse shows two prominent die cracks. One of these connects the border to the bust, between the 0 and 1 in the date, missing both digits. The other begins at star 13 and curves through the throat, neck, and hair, emerging from the back of the head into the left obverse field. The reverse is cracked like the intermediate states of 1800. Pleasing green-gold color with sharp design details, minor abrasions, and hints of reflective prooflike mirrors through the obverse stars and reverse letters.

Coin Engraver: Robert Scot

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information\)
