For you consideration in this lot we have a collection of assorted single western spurs originating from the 19th century to the mid 20th century. The collection consists of a total of seven spurs with varying degrees of ornamentation. The first of the spurs shows steel construction with thin leather straps and is marked "Sol Kenny 1954". The second and third spurs show iron construction with a six and five pointed rowel and are marked "Charles R Smith 1959". The fourth shows steel construction and is marked "Bill Widdon 1959". The fifth piece shows iron and silver construction and is marked "Sol Kenny 1959 Mr Warf 1880".The sixth spur is a WW1 Cavalry spur and is marked "U.S. W.L." indicating it was made by Whitehorse Lecompte. The final spur shows steel construction with small five point rowel and is faintly marked. The collection shows good to fair condition overall with rust spots and wear due to age and use. The largest spur measures 7 1/2" long by 4 3/4" wide.
