1800 S-202 R4+ F15Ten points sharper but there are traces of fine verdigris in protected areas, mostly on the right side of the reverse. Rather glossy mix of medium brown and light olive blending to darker chocolate and olive brown in a few places. The only notable signs of contact are a small rim bruise at the L in LIBERTY, a pair of light vertical scratches in the field behind the head, and a few tiny ticks around the stem under the U. E-MDS, Breen state II, with an obvious bulge at ATE. Graded VF20 and tied for CC#6 in the Bland census. Noyes says VF25 net F12 and tied for CC#11, his photo #39052. Comes with the famous (infamous) Sheldon-ANS-Naftzger provenance.Certificate Number: Pedigree: Ex ANS Museum Collection (as part of the legal settlement with Naftzger) 2001-R. E.
