1800 S-200 R3 PCGS graded XF40Beautiful glossy light chocolate brown with frosty lighter brown and golden tan faded down from mint color in protected areas on the reverse. Smooth with great eye appeal and just minor marks. The notable marks are a short, light scratch just off the ends of the hair ribbon and a small nick in the field close before the eye. Rare EDS, Breen state I, with die clashmarks but no cracks. Fine mostly vertical die polishing lines cover the fields on the reverse and there are very shallow low spots inside the wreath (caused by debris/lubricant on the die). Graded VF35 and tied for CC#1 in the Bland census. Noyes says EF45 net VF35 and tied for CC#2 behind the ANS example, his photo #25849. Our grade is EF40. Another superior 1800 cent in this collection.Certificate Number: 36188.40/61275963Pedigree: Ex the Willis Estate (Philadelphia) 1965-Daniel's Jewelers (Daniel Borda) 7/1985-Fred H.
