<td width="100%">
This is a late 1800s to early 1900s Ewer. It is mother-of pearl satin art glass in the raindrop pattern. It has a pontil and the clear satin twisted handle is handblown and hand applied. It also has clear satin trim at the bottom of the ruffled spout. It is about 13" tall with a 3 1/2" round base. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It does have a small streak of another color of glass on the ruffled spout and a couple of brown spots at the base. I don't know if the spots are on the inside or not. Truly a beautiful and well done piece. I bought this from a person I have been buying alot of pieces from in the last few months. All the items have been stored since the 1940s when his grandmother closed her antique shop in NJ and moved to Florida. It had never been unpacked or rewrapped until he brought it in in the original 1940s newspaper. Everything I have bought has been from the mid 1800s to early 1900s. Most of it mid to late 1800s. There is absolutely no doubt about this rare and wonderful piece.
