<b>1800 Draped Bust Dollar. BB-190, B-10. ANACS graded EF40.</b> BB-190 is an example of the 1800 &#34;Wide Date&#34; type and is thus desired by both type and die variety collectors. This carefully preserved and ANACS-packaged specimen has attractive medium gray and lighter high points toning on both sides. A very attractive early silver dollar.

In 1800, the year this dollar was minted, the U.S. population-5,308,483. Almost a fifth of this number, 896,849, consisted of slaves. The words &#34;To the memory of the man, first in war, first in peace, and first in the hearts of his countrymen,&#34; were written by Henry &#34;Light-Horse Harry&#34; Lee in his eulogy on Washington who had died in December 1799 <b>&#40;PCGS # 6887&#41;</b>
