<B>1800 10C AU55 PCGS.</B></I> JR-2, R.5. Aquamarine iridescence graces both sides, but cedes to a window of rose patina on the reverse center. The strike is incomplete on the eagle's neck, but the stars and clouds are generally sharp, unlike most high grade survivors of the Heraldic Eagle type. Only two die varieties are known for 1800 dimes, and both are equally scarce. The location of the first S in STATES, centered above the first cloud, distinguishes JR-2 from the alternative JR-1, which has the first S over the right half of the cloud.
