This beautiful cameo brooch sits in a classic 18 carat setting and was made around 1900. The finely cut cameo depicts a female’s head in profile, which is nicely cut into detail, defining her hair and the rim of her garment. The brooch can also be worn as a pendant and makes up for an eye catching piece of jewellery with a classic design.
The gold brooch is in good condition with slight traces of wear. The gold is slightly tarnished. The dimensions are 6 x 4,5 cm and the brooch weighs 12.60 grams. It is hallmarked on the reverse with the purity “750”.
