<B>17th Century English Parchment Scroll.</B></I> <BR> Four folio vellum sheets stitched end to end, 10.25 x 108.5 inches, July 1686.<BR>Impressive calligraphed parchment scroll accomplished in transitional Fraktur -Baroque Old Style font. Written in Latin, this lengthy untranslated document is heavily age darkened at the top and bears a large decorative design at the end. Penned during the reign of James II (House of Stuart), the second son of Charles I.
