A rising die crack from the rim through the 99 in the date to the bust helps identify the die variety. A fissure-like crack is present to the left of Liberty's ear, and was caused at the moment of striking. This Heraldic Eagle dollar exhibits substantial luster for the designated grade, and the only mentionable marks are relegated to the upper left reverse.
