<B>1799 S$1 AU58 NGC.</B></I> B-5, BB-157, R.2. Die State IV, distinguished by the vertical crack extending through the first T in STATES and the circular crack extending through AMER into IC, as struck. Bowers-Borckardt describe this state as "Scarce." A good deal of iridescent luster remains on this medium silver-gray coin, particularly on the reverse.
