<B>1799 1C --Corroded--ANACS. VF20 Details.</B></I> S-189, B-3, R.2. The 99 of the date are closer than those of Obverse 1 (S-188), the point of 1 in the date is closer to the hair than to the curl, and the die chip between the E in ONE and T in CENT barely shows only when the coin is tilted is such a way as to catch the light. Medium brown surfaces reveal light to moderate, uniform porosity. The design elements on both obverse and reverse are quite well defined, especially the strands in Liberty's hair, the date, LIBERTY, most of the wreath, and the ONE CENT denomination. All in all, a decent representative of this key-date issue.
