The most available of the early eagles to this point, and one of the most available varieties. The 17 in the date are tilted far to the right, and the 7 is higher than the 1. On the reverse star 12 is has a single point touching the scroll, and star 13 is distant from the ribbon. The "damage" that ANACS alludes to is many tiny obverse field abrasions combined with a somewhat unnatural surface appearance, including an olive-brown obverse and an orange-gold reverse with magenta in the protected areas.
