The crack continues entirely through the tail feathers to the arrow knock closest to the tail. Not only is this the latest die state recorded, but the present example from the Queller Collection is possibly the finest known.<BR> This remarkable piece is fully defined, even at the centers, with wispy champagne toning over satiny silver luster.
