Sharpness VF30 with light corrosion covering most of the right half of the obverse. The remainder of the planchet is smooth. No verdigris. The best identifying mark is a shallow planchet chip under the first 0 in the denominator. Lightly burnished, now recolored glossy chocolate and darker steel. LDS, Breen state VI, with a strong cud break left of the L in LIBERTY and an arcing die crack through TY to the rim off the chin. The field outside this crack is sunken indicating that section had become a retained cud. Less than a dozen known in this die state.
