<B>1798 S$1 Large Eagle, Wide Date--Plugged, Repaired--ANACS. XF40 Details.</B></I> B-23, BB-105, R.3. Likely plugged on the base of the eagle's tail, although the repair is done with some skill. The obverse field has probably been smoothed. A granular streak crosses the reverse between 1 o'clock and 7:30.
