<B>1798 S$1 Large Eagle--Scratched--ANACS. XF45 Details.</B></I> B-15, BB-112, R.3. Attributed by a tiny spine to the left of the highest hair curl, and by five small berries, the third from the top attached to a leaf point. Medium gray and sky-blue patina resides on both sides, and sharp definition is seen on well centered design features, though most of the eagle's breast and neck reveal internal smoothness. A patch of toned-over pinscratches in the right obverse field apparently accounts for the ANACS disclaimer. These are relatively unobtrusive and inoffensive, and should not intimidate the prospective bidder.
