<B>1798 S$1 Large Eagle--Repaired--ANACS. Fine 12 Details.</B></I> B-27, BB-113, R.2. The variety is attributed by the following: the 8 in the date is high and leans to the right, and the highest curl of hair under the E in LIBERTY is incomplete; on the reverse a leaf tip terminates between RI in AMERICA, and the F in OF is mostly to the right of a space between two clouds. Light to medium gray patination displays slightly deeper hues on the obverse, whose design features reveal somewhat more detail than the reverse. A few abrasions are scattered about, as one would expect for the grade level.
