1797 H10C 15 Stars XF40 NGC. V-2, LM-1, R.3. The most common die pairing of 1797. Both 7s in the date are small, and digit 1 is free of the curl. This pinkish-silver piece shows some light adjustment marks in the central obverse, but otherwise the only distraction is a hair-thin scrape through Liberty's face from forehead to neck. Much pleasing detail remains, save for on the weakly struck eagle's breast, along with some faded mint luster. A nice piece for the grade.

Coin Engraver: Robert Scot

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
