<B>1797 $10 Large Eagle--Rim Damage--NCS. AU Details.</B></I> Breen-6835, Taraszka-11, BD-3, R.5. The only obverse used with the Large Eagle reverses. This reverse shows stars 1 and 7 through 10 nearly in a straight line, with stars 7 and 10 a bit lower. Stars 3, 9, and 13 are also nearly aligned. There is much good news concerning this very rare variety: the surfaces are original and still retain much luster, and there are no singular impairments on the surfaces save for a single scrape near the last 7. Finally, the noted rim damage is confined to the reverse between about 2 and 3 o'clock (i.e., from the eagle's top feather to above the first A in AMERICA), where some metal movement is seen, although not drastically so.
