<B>1797 $10 Large Eagle AU55 PCGS.</B></I> Breen-6834, Taraszka-8, BD-2, High R.4. The Large Eagle reverse where the eagle has a long, skinny neck, there is a star under the eagle's beak, and stars 3, 9, 10, and 11 on the reverse are nearly in a straight line promptly diagnoses the BD-2 variety. Only this single 1797-dated obverse was used for the three Draped Bust, Large Eagle marriages. <BR> The present piece offers rich, highly lustrous yellow-gold surfaces that show a few light ticks and abrasions characteristic of a short spate in circulation. A curving mark in the lower tresses appears to be an old strike-through of a piece of wire, perhaps.
