<B>1797 1/2 C Plain Edge VF35 NGC.</B></I> C-2, B-2, R.3. This mostly medium brown early half cent has a crisp strike on the left side and a soft strike along the right border. The T in CENT and the F in HALF are bluntly impressed. Wisps of subtle charcoal patina visit portions of the obverse dentils, and a mildly granular ebony area encompasses the C in CENT. A broad die bar resides to the right of Liberty's throat. Traces of an undertype, perhaps a Talbot, Allum & Lee token, are present on the rim beneath the date. EAC 12.
