<B>1797 1/2 C 1 Above 1 VF25 PCGS.</B></I> C-1, B-1, R.2. The popular 1 over 1 variety is easily recognized at a glance, with a complete digit 1 between the bust and final date position. PCGS assigned the wrong coin number to this piece, identifying it as a "Plain Edge" variety, that description usually reserved for examples of the C-2 die marriage. The surface have faint evidence of corrosion on the reverse. Attractive steel-brown color is intermingled with olive and reddish-tan.
