<B>1796 25C --Scratched, Cleaned--ANACS. VG8 Details</B></I> B-2, R.3. This one-year-type comes in two varieties that share the same reverse. The B-2 variety of the coin in this lot is confirmed by a high 6 in the date that is very near, but does not quite touch, the bust, and in LIBERTY, the T and Y do not touch at the top.<BR> This VG8 Details example displays uniformly light silver-gray color. The design elements possess good VG definition, with some detail showing in Liberty's ear and hair and in the eagle's wing feathers. The obverse dentilation is bold, as seen on most all specimens, regardless of grade. That on the reverse is about half full. Some fine hairlines show up under magnification, and a shallow scrape is visible on Liberty's shoulder. All in all, the cleaning is relatively light, and the scrape is not all that bad.
