<B>1796 25C --Tooled, Cleaned--ANACS. VG10 Details.</B></I> B-2, R.3. The tooling is not immediately apparent, and appears to be limited to a subtle smoothing of the fields near star 4. This is the more common of the two varieties of this initial quarter issue, identified by the high 6 in the date. The surfaces have retoned to a pinkish gray color, not at all unattractive. The wear is as one might expect from the assigned details grade, with all lettering, stars and devices fully outlined, denticles almost fully distinct, and a few details visible on Liberty's hair and the eagle's feathers.
