The Draped Bust, Small Eagle quarter is among the rarest silver types, perhaps trailing only its half dollar counterpart. Most bullion depositors of the era preferred silver dollars, which were more convenient for export. This pearl-gray example has bold legends and clear types, but is granular from environmental exposure.
