<B>1796 1C Draped Bust, Reverse of 1797 MS64 Brown PCGS.</B></I> S-119, B-40, R.3. Breen Die State III with a five-dentil break above the AT in STATES. The leaf count, including the double leaf right wreath termination, identifies the Reverse of 1797 subtype. A lovely chocolate-brown representative of the fabled Nichols Find. The obverse has a few pinpoint carbon flecks, but marks are essentially absent, and the only spot is small, faint, and centered over the E in CENT. The grade is chiefly limited by the strike, which is crisp on the portrait and lower wreath but ONE CENT, STATES, and the date are somewhat soft. Certified in a green label PCGS holder.
