<B>1796<10C> XF45 PCGS.</B></I> JR-5, R.5. Along with JR-3, JR-5 is the rarest die marriage for the date. JR-1 and JR-6 are the usually encountered varieties. Boldly struck (except for MERIC and the right side obverse stars) and lightly worn, with a pleasingly original appearance. A few faint adjustment marks are noted on the obverse, but these are nearly invisible apart from close examination with a magnifier. A couple of heavier adjustment marks vertically bisect the reverse. An evenly worn, evenly balanced example, with a full date, full legends, and fully outlined devices. Only the eagle seems moderately worn. Attractive for the XF grade level, and housed in a green label PCGS holder.<BR><I>From The Tide Collection.</B></I>
